Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund presents check to Tri-Valley Public Library

Sacramento, PA – On October 6th, Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund (TVYAF) presented a grant award of $3,700 to the Tri-Valley Free Public Library.  The funds will be used to purchase additional children’s books and educational materials.  The Library is one of 14 organizations who through a grant application process was selected to receive funding that will benefit members of the community.

TVYAF is a non-profit organization created in 2015 to enhance the quality of life for all members of our community and surrounding areas by promoting, restoring, and constructing the infrastructure needed to attract and retain the best and brightest so that the vitality of our region is sustained for generations to come.

The grant award program is supported by dollars raised through the Hot Potato 5K, held annually in June.  This year the event raised over $23,000.  It is scheduled June 10th, 2017.  If you are interested in learning more about how you can get involved and be part of the TVYAF please visit the Face Book page or contact Julie Masser-Ballay at 570-653-1614.
