Local Farmer Directs America’s Farmers Grow Communities Donation to Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund

  • Each year, the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program partners with local farmers to provide grants to local nonprofits.
  • Sponsored by the Bayer Fund, the program provides farmers the opportunity to support and give back to nonprofit organizations they care about in their local communities by enrolling for a chance to direct a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit of their choice.

SACRMANTO, PA – May 10, 2019 – County farmer Julie Masser Ballay, directed $2,500 to the Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund through America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Bayer Fund. As part of their mission the Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund will use the funds support youth organizations in the Tri-Valley Area. We also have a long-term goal of developing a community center. Join us at our 7th Annual Hot Potato 5K on June 8, 2019 for an exciting announcement that will impact our community,” said David Masser, President of the Tri-Valley Youth Activities Fund.

Celebrating its 10th year, America’s Farmers Grow Communities partners with farmers to support nonprofit organizations strengthening rural communities. The program offers farmers the chance to direct a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit of their choice. It has awarded more than $33 million to over 8,000 nonprofits across rural America.
